Brief info

PEDRO MENICUCCI CARVALHO DE OLIVEIRA was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He began training in Krav Maga in 1998 and has since built a solid career within the discipline. Throughout his journey, he has participated in demonstrations, workshops and presentations in schools, universities, companies, television programs, radio interviews, newspapers and public events related to self-defense and Krav Maga.

In 2010, he was part of the Minas Gerais demonstration team during the international event “Krav Maga 2010,” held in honor of the 100th anniversary of Imi Lichtenfeld, the creator of Krav Maga. In the same year, he participated in the largest self-defense class in the world, recognized by Guinness World Records, during the 1st International Krav Maga Congress organized by the South American Federation of Krav Maga.

He graduated from the 10th Monitor Course (2011) and, after a period assisting classes, was selected to attend the Instructor Course, graduating from the 8th Instructor Course of the South American Federation of Krav Maga. He has been a Black Belt since 2019 and is a direct student of Grand Master Kobi Lichtenstein.

Since 2014, he has been teaching regular Krav Maga classes in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Throughout his career as an instructor, he has trained numerous students and conducted self-defense seminars and workshops for hundreds of women, in addition to lectures and training sessions for companies, schools and institutions.

He also has experience training public security forces, having taught and trained units in the Police of Minas Gerais, including ROTAM, BOPE and GIR (Rapid Intervention Group of the prison system).

He has participated in dozens of specialized seminars and training programs, including: Defense Against Knife Attacks and Threats, Tactical Baton, Ground Fighting, Crowd Reaction, Defense Against Firearm Threats and Third-Party Protection, Tactical Circuit, One Against a Group, Baton Against Baton, Initial Aggression and Street Fighting, as well as the military youth training program (GADNA). He also participated in a seminar conducted by GM Haim Zut.
